Apple HomeView is Apple's first dedicated smart home display. It has a 7-inch square screen, starts at $299 and begins arriving on November 13, 2026. It is built around Siri AI and works as a control screen for your home, a video-call screen and a music speaker. Apple announced it on October 13 at its “Welcome Home” event, and pre-orders opened the same day.

What Is Apple HomeView?

HomeView is a smart display with a 7-inch Liquid Retina screen. It comes in two versions: a tabletop version with a built-in speaker base, and a wall-mounted version. Apple presents it as a hub for controlling the home, making FaceTime calls and playing media. It was announced together with a new Apple TV 4K and HomePod mini 2, so it is one part of a wider smart home push. Pricing and dates for those two products are not covered here, so check Apple's site for them.

Apple HomeView Price and Release Date

Both versions start at $299. Pre-orders are open now and the first deliveries begin on November 13. Apple says availability starts in select markets. These are US dollar prices from Apple's announcement; prices in other countries will differ.

Wall Mount Cost

The wall-mounted version needs a separate mount from Schneider Home:

  • Power Mount USB-C Wall Connector: from $59.95
  • Power Mount AC Wired: from $79.95
  • Power Mount PoE Wired: $129.95, arriving in early 2027

So the cheapest wall-mounted setup costs $358.95 ($299 plus $59.95), and with the AC Wired mount it is $378.95. The tabletop version does not need a mount. Prices are before tax and shipping. Check Apple's page for what is included in the box.

Is Apple HomeView Coming to Bangladesh?

Apple has not announced a Bangladesh release date or price, and Bangladesh has not been named as a launch market. Availability starts in select markets only. Any unit sold in Bangladesh before an official launch would be an unofficial import, which can mean no Apple warranty or local support, and a US-market power adapter would need checking for plug and voltage compatibility. We will update this post when Apple announces more. We do not convert the US prices into taka, because import costs and shop margins would change the real price.

Colors

The tabletop version comes in silver, starlight, rose pink and space gray. The wall-mounted version comes in space gray and silver only. Apple lists no price difference between colors in the announcement we read, so confirm on the Apple Store page before ordering.

Display, Sound and Camera

The screen has True Tone and reaches 500 nits of brightness. It can also dim down to 0.3 nits, which suits a nightstand because it will not light up the room. For sound, Apple describes two full-range drivers in the display, a down-firing woofer and two passive radiators. A Center Stage camera is included for FaceTime calls.

Siri AI

Siri AI is the centerpiece of HomeView. If you own an iPhone or iPad that supports Apple Intelligence, HomeView can use your personal context. Without one, Siri AI on HomeView is limited to world knowledge and music discovery.

HomeView can recognize up to six people and show each one a personalized Home Screen. The screen also changes with distance: from across the room it shows simple information, and as you get closer it shows more detail.

Faces

HomeView offers several screen faces, including Photos, Flow and a Snoopy face.

Smart Home Features

HomeView supports Matter and AirPlay, and it can sync across rooms. The Home Camera face can show up to nine live video feeds at once. Apple also announced an Apple Home Collection of accessories made with LG and Schneider. Earlier reports said the LG products would take at least a few months to arrive, and we have not confirmed their prices or dates, so check each product before planning a setup around it.

Not Available in the EU

HomeView will not launch in the European Union at first, because Siri AI is not available there. Availability elsewhere starts in select markets.

Who Should Buy Apple HomeView?

It suits you if

  • Your household already uses Apple devices and the Home app.
  • You want one shared screen for cameras and home controls instead of reaching for your phone.
  • You want a kitchen or bedside display for FaceTime and music.

Consider waiting if

  • You live in the EU.
  • You want to wall-mount it and have not counted the cost of the mount.
  • You want the LG accessories, which arrive later.
  • You need specific third-party apps. Earlier reports said HomeView would run Apple apps without an App Store, so confirm what it supports on Apple's page.
  • You are in Bangladesh and need an official warranty: there is no official launch yet.
